Let’s make the USA to the greatest country in the world

My dearest friends and companions, fellow citizens of the United States, Words can not express the gratitude and honor I feel being able to stand here and talk to you, all of you. I want to thank each one of you for making it possible, for giving an ordinary person the opportunity to inspire a whole nation.

Before I begin I must also thank my dear friend and Vice President AOC for being an associate of great ability and intelligence. I thank our former president Mr. Bernie Sanders who has been a supportive mentor and confidant and I especially thank Mrs Michelle Obama who has made this election possible with her great determination, experience and commitment. Thank you. I've been asked many times 'Why do you want to be president of the United states?' Well, the answer is right here. Standing here in front of this crowd I see all the people who have become the reason for my actions. All the brothers and sisters who have convinced me to preserve, protect and defend this nation and serve its citizens to the very best of my ability.

Forty-six Americans have been honored to take the presidential oath. After decades of war where people had to fight for themselves in an oppressive system, we have grown to become a nearly inseparable unit. But America has advanced not just due to the skill of those in office but because we as a society, we the citizens of the United States have followed the promise of our ancestors.

Now, I think we are all well aware that we are in the midst of a crisis, a virus that has cost many lives of our people. Friends and family whose well being is endangered as a result of this pandemic having been dealt with too late. It is now crucial to find a solution to end this pandemic, and save the lives of thousands to come. We have to gather as a Nation so that the parliament can find an approach that will be executed in all states.

We need to confront this crisis together! We are not just fifty states doing what they want, we are the United States of America. You may be from Iowa and you may be from Colorado or Indiana, that won’t ever change the fact that we are all Americans and we fight because we care for our people. We believe that every citizen or non-citizen deserves a basic amount of kindness and support and a country they can rely on. We constantly need to think of ways to better ourselves and in order to manage that we need to start listening.

We need to listen to this single father who can’t afford college for his children, and help him through providing free education. We need to listen to this woman who can’t afford her surgery, and help her through affordable healthcare. We need to listen to the people of color who are being killed because of police brutality or hate crimes, and try helping with stricter gun laws and selecting our policemen and women more thoroughly, so that we can avoid that our people are afraid of our own law enforcement.

We need to listen to women when they say they are afraid to walk alone at night or when they complain about earning less money than men, instead of saying they’re overreacting and exaggerating. We need to listen to these young men that have been sexually assaulted by women, instead of saying that a woman isn’t capable of sexual assault, or that the man should have enjoyed the encounter.

We need to listen to the sex worker or the homeless man who is constantly judged and looked down upon for no reason. We need to listen to people whose friends and family members have become addicted to drugs or alcohol and are simply forgotten by society. We need to listen to this former prisoner who is actively trying to better himself but can’t find a job because of his past, and give him a second chance.

If we start listening we can start understanding. If we give voices to the people who are trying to be heard we can improve ourselves and our country and truly achieve change. So I can only encourage you to ask people for their story, to ask the boy in your class why he seems so sad all the time and how he is doing, to ask your teenage daughter why she has suddenly stopped talking about her day, to ask your neighbor’s wife where her bruises come from and to ask the old married couple how they’ve met. When everybody starts caring we will all form a unity stronger than any other.

If we constantly try to better ourselves we, the people, will guarantee our nation to thrive and progress, and we will grow and truly become the greatest country in the world. Thank you, may God forever bless you, and may God bless the United States of America. Lets make this the greatest Country in the World!
