Vice President Harris, Chief Justice, President Bush Senior, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, President Trump, members of the United States Congress, reverend clergy, distinguished guests, fellow citizens of the United States and people of the world, I’m honored to stand in front of you, having the opportunity to guide this beautiful country, America, out of the shadows of the corona virus and the hardships of the last four years, back into the light. Our world is reaching a new age and all countries are forced to adapt. New inventions, new technology and other mindsets are some of the reasons for this worldwide change - and I even tend to call it development. Development does not always have to be good. Many leaders don’t want the best for the whole but for themselves. The rich are getting richer and the poor are not able to adapt or even keep track. The gap between those extremes will not stop broadening unless we start to change something. Let’s challenge this change together!

It has never been of greater importance that we all stand together. But right now our country is more divided than ever before - not only politically but also socially. Especially during the last four years our nation has drifted further apart. Recent crises have not contributed to the wellbeing of the nation. We need to break out of this vicious circle, we have to overcome these crises and most importantly we need to be one union - the United States of America - again! I stand here today to tell you that we, the American people, have to face these problems and solve them together. We need to heal the nation, as one country, as one united nation - as the United States. By overcoming this situation, we will show not only to other nations, but also to ourselves, that we are capable of learning from previous faults and to impose a new rule of common sense.

I promise you that, from today on, the government including myself will do everything in our power to face these ongoing issues and regain our country's once lost reputation. Not only has the corona virus weakened our economy and made many citizens suffer from financial problems, unemployment and losses of their companies, but more drastically, ended up in thousands of citizens not having survived the still ongoing pandemic due to missing common regulations and the united will to fight this global threat, but there has also risen another virus we still need to overcome! We will not tolerate racism, reoccurring segregation and civil-war-like conditions, or in general, harassment of any form in our society. This road to new recognition is not a short and easy one and the executors need to be our younger generations as well.

So to them I say: Regardless of your origin and your heritage, our country sends you a clear message: Dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they've never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way. You are our future! This is what is meant with the American Dream! Like last time, as vice president under President Obama, I’m taking the lead over our country during a crisis, but this time as your president. And I promise you that we - as a country, as the United States - will also overcome this problem, like we did overcome the financial crisis, and that we will be even stronger in the outcome. Every day around 3.000 American citizens are dying due to the Covid-19 virus. This 3 number is higher than the annual death rate of people in car accidents, higher than the number of killed people on 9/11 and even at Pearl Harbour. We have to take this crisis seriously and change our way of dealing with it. Fighting the disease does not mean trivializing the situation to not raise panic but to really solve it and most importantly save lives - as many American lives as possible! We will therefore expand the support of science and research to end the economical and especially social problems as fast as possible. Furthermore, I personally will take the responsibility for working out a prevention program to help nip future crises in the bud so that we will never again face such drastic issues concerning our health system. The virus has shown us that we need to change our way of living and taking care of our weakest. Therefore I will tie on former President Obama's idea of universal health insurance for every citizen.

In today's globalized world we need to work together more than ever. Especially the virus, to name it again, has shown us that we are all in the same boat and therefore have to work together because otherwise we will all go down together. Climate change, international relationships and our reputation throughout the world have impaired severely during the last decade. These issues need to be readdressed!

I am the president of the United States and by having this position, my primary task is to serve you, the people, first. Our ancestors built this country on nothing else but hard work and commitment, coming from their hearts, to assure us the best life possible. So it is our duty to not let it fall apart, but to keep their vision of a free, welcoming country going and even improving it and its possibilities. But we can not just isolate ourselves from the rest of the world being too egocentric, closed-minded and short-sighted. We need to work together with peoples and states all around the world. We need to reestablish tight bonds. Going back in time, we - the United States - were the nation that ultimately started to unite the world under equal laws, rules, aims and ideas. We united the world and made agreements on social, economical and military support for each other. We helped establish the United Nations, NATO and a lot more organizations we should be proud members of!

As I already said we should work together, especially in this time, but also in general to solve worldwide problems - not only American ones. That is why I want America to join the Paris agreement again - to help prevent global warming, save the world from climate change and show our will to cooperate with our international partners. I will also reinforce the nuclear deal with Iran and strive for a solution to 4 the Korea conflict. No longer shall countries and leaders threaten the world by acquiring nuclear or chemical weapons as we need to demilitarize our nuclear and chemical weapons arsenals to achieve freedom and security for the world!

Furthermore we need to rejoin the World Health Organization to improve our common effort to fight global diseases - as we can only win the fight by standing together as one!

Times have changed - and it is not enough anymore to just join the Paris agreement again, but to really make a change. Our world is getting ruined more and more, day by day and if we don’t change our way of living one day there will be no earth to care for and to live on anymore. Maybe it’s not my problem and if I am lucky maybe it’s also not the problem of my children and grandchildren too. But I have not been elected president to just think and work until the end of my period but to really make a long lasting and sustainable change. So my aim is to guarantee clean energy and zero emission until the year 2050 at the latest. This change won’t be reached until tomorrow but you always need one person to start it and trigger the change. If nobody had trusted in God and had not had the courage to start the journey to the new unknown land that we love today, maybe our great nation would never have come into existence. Make the change! Be the change!

Therefore, I want to emphasize that each and every citizen of the United States is important! I deeply believe in equality for all people, no matter their skin color, their religion, their gender, their nationality and their sexual orientation. No one is left behind and nobody will be forgotten. Those are the basics of creating a healthy community. That's why I'm referring to the declaration of independence. Our founding fathers created this manifest to point out that every human being is created equally by god. That is why we need to start to act this way. Since the day the first colonists arrived in North America in 1607, racism, exclusion and slavery have always been a part of the very young history of the United States.

"The Quest for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" was understood as the aim of the American War of Independence, but can also be seen as the fight for equality of the colored people and all minorities until today. This fight against racism is what gave our nation its finishing touches towards equality, acceptance and collaboration. It strengthened our nation and made it flourish. Why would we want to destroy that?! Why would we go against each other?! Why would we destroy the common agreement that originated each and every one of us?! We should accept everyone equally and give everyone the same opportunities to reach one's full potential.

In recent years, our partnerships with other countries have trembled. We looked for peace in our country but lost sight of others. We built walls instead of bridges. Now it is our duty to reuse those stones to build bridges. We need to rebuild trust and we need to be able to take some hits. We need trust in each and every situation in our lives. Trust in our parents, trust in our neighbours, trust in our government - and, particularly, trust in our media. Let us overcome the divide our nation suffers from, let us get over the unfortunate term fake news and let us regain trust in our news networks, newspapers and journalists - as they are an important part of our democracy, guaranteeing freedom and equality of opinion to each and every citizen!

To conclude I want to thank everyone who voted for me again, the majority of America, who believe in me as the new leader and who trust in my visions. My goal is to fulfill all your aims, ideas and wishes for this country to show you, the people, my voters, that you made the right choice and especially to convince the minority of people not voting for me that I also want to be their president and satisfy them and their needs. I promise, no one will be forgotten or ignored - because we need a cured nation to go forward! At the dawn of the 21st century, free people must now choose to shape the forces of the Information Age and the global society, to unleash the limitless potential of all our people, and, yes, to form a more perfect union.

The challenges of our past remain the challenges of our future - to be one nation, one people, with one common destiny. This is a serious and difficult aim but I believe, no I am sure, that we will solve all these problems and become even greater during this process. Thank you. God bless you. And God bless the United States of America.
